SHIRLEY FELTS

Shirley Felts is best known internationally for her watercolour paintings of large beautifully detailed floral arrangements, reproductions of which have sold in the hundreds of thousands.

Offered here are fine art prints (limited to signed editions of 100) of her more private, smaller still life paintings full of texture and vibrantly rich colour.

Shirley has made several painting visits to the rain forests of South America. Her paintings include work for the International Centre for Rain Forest Conservation and Development in Guyana and for the Instituto De Pesquisas Ecologicas in Brazil.

Her rain forest paintings were exhibited at Castellani House, the National Gallery in Georgetown, Guyana, in 2003, to coincide with publication of the book of watercolours: The Iwokrama Rain Forest. Exhibitions and a book are being planned for Ipé in Brazil in 2007.

Shirley regularly exhibits in England and North America.

Shirley lives in Blackheath, London England. An award winning illustrator, she has illustrated a hundred books for children. Other books for adults include natural history subjects and gardens.
